The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

Pen and ink and charcoal on paper. The reverse of the sheet is hinged to the mount along the upper edge. Artist tack holes to the upper and lower right corner and center edges. One pinhole size hole towards the centre of the lower edge. A small nick to the upper center edge. The sheet is mount and light-stained. A few pale stains throughout and light surface dirt. Subject to the foregoing, it is our opinion that the work is in overall good condition.

Plume et encre et fusain sur papier. Le revers de la feuille est maintenu par des charnières au montage le long du bord supérieur. Des trous de punaise faits par l’artiste aux coins supérieur et inférieur droits et au centre des bords. Un trou de la taille d’une tête d’épingle vers le centre du bord inférieur. Une petite encoche au centre du bord supérieur. Brunissement dû au montage et insolation de la feuille. De rares taches pâles sur l’ensemble de la composition et légère salissure de surface. Sous réserve de ce qui précède et selon notre opinion, cette œuvre apparaît en bonne condition générale.
