The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.
Minor wear, rubbing, a few tiny losses, pinpoint accretions, linear abrasions and hairline cracks are to the artist's frame. The lower canvas is slightly slack. Visible under close inspection, a few pinpoint losses are to the upper turning edge of the upper canvas and a small loss is to the upper left corner-tip of the lower canvas. Drying cracks, some with slight yet stable lifting, are to the green painted passages of the figure's head and a very fine hairline crack is to the figure's proper right knee in a red painted passage. A tiny loss is just above the center left edge of the lower canvas in a plum painted passage. A fibrous accretion is near the lower center edge of the lower canvas. Visible under close inspection and ultraviolet light, a tiny drip accretion fluoresces near the left center edge of the lower canvas. There is no apparent inpainting visible under ultraviolet light.
