The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

The paperboard is hinged to the backing board at the corner-tips. The media appears to have slightly shifted in tone. Minor wear, tiny nicks and pinpoint losses are scattered to the edges and corners. Faint discoloration is visible to the upper left edge. Soft creasing is to the corners, most notably a diagonal crease is to the lower left corner. A translucent accretion is to the lower left corner-tip, and a few pinpoint accretions are infrequent. A few faint spots of foxing are visible to the unpainted passages. Visible under close inspection and raking light, a faint indentation is near the upper right edge in a brown painted passage, possibly studio-related. There is no apparent inpainting visible under ultraviolet light.
