The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

In good overall condition. The ormolu appearing to retain its original mercury gilding. With some minor surface scratches, casting flaws, verdigris and rubbing, as to be expected. Overall with some wax residue, consistent with age and use, which has colored green in scattered areas. Some minor dings, mainly to nozzles, one of the cassolettes resultingly slightly misshapen and unable to rest its nozzle at a stable vertical. Overall generally well preserved and good condition, ready to place.
