The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

The canvas, stretcher and attachments appear to be in generally good condition. All elements are present and adhere well to their support. There are a few soft creases in places to the fabric, in keeping with the artist's chosen medium. There are a few loose threads in places to the edges of the fabric elements. There is minute rubbing to the extreme corners. There are a few faint drying cracks to the center right. When examined under ultraviolet light, there appears to be no evidence of any retouching. Subject to the foregoing, it is our view that the work appears to be in generally very good condition.
