The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.
We have sought to record changes in the condition of this piece acquired after its initial manufacture.
1. Sailing in the River
-There are multiple foldlines, creases, and mould spots throughout the work.
-There are two areas of paper loss and restoration at the upper left quadrant.
-There are some restored light tears and paper damage at the upper right quadrant and the bottom of the work.
-The painting is in overall fair condition.
2. Dusk Scenery
-The paper is slightly warped.
-There are some minor creases at the edges of the work.
-The painting is in overall good condition.
