The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

- a pale band of toning along the upper sheet edge.
- a fox mark to the right of the pointed toe; a few other pale fox marks.
- pale discoloration at the upper corners verso from previous hinges.
