The cup of typical form polished gold with four enamelled violet irises divided by floral sprays of emeralds, garnets and diamonds, the leaves of which extend beyond the rim to form an arcade, similar swags of stones below above a knop of garnets and diamonds, the foot with four panels of enamel divided by inset trefoils, the conforming saucer with eight irises and inset floral arcades, marked under foot and under saucer: unidentified letter S crossed out vertically by an arrow; 18 carat
