The canvas, stretcher and attachments appear to be in generally good condition. There is some canvas draw to the four corners. There are a few minor surface abrasions to the extreme edges, and one further abrasion to the black passage at the centre left vertical edge. When examined under ultra-violet light, there is no indication of inpainting. Subject to the above, it is our view that the work appears to be in generally good condition.
