a rare, very fine and uniform set, printed in sepia, before the scratch on plate 45
from the First Edition, published by the artist, Madrid, 1799, in an edition of approximately three hundred copies
printing sharply, with great contrasts and brightly wiped highlights
the aquatint very rich and even, many sheets with prominent plate impurities outside the image
with wide margins, unbound
some scattered foxing, generally in good condition
