Condition report
A Christie's specialist may contact you to discuss this lot or to notify you if the condition changes prior to the sale.
The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.
The work has not been examined outside its artist's vitrine. The photograph is slightly faded. Scattered surface scuffs are visible to the glazing under raking light, and an abraded accretion is to the upper right quadrant of the glazing. A minute loss is to the upper right of the frame. Faint wear is intermittently to the image, and a few tiny tears where the work is screwed into the backing board are visible, in keeping with the artist's working method.
