The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

The right edge of the canvas undulates very slightly. Wear with small losses is to the corner tips and occasional to the turning edges. Very fine hairline cracking is to the turning edges, and faint frame abrasions are to the horizontal edges. A small loss is to the upper left quadrant, and a pinpoint loss is just below the right figure's chin. A small accretion is near the lower center edge. There is no apparent inpainting visible under ultraviolet light.
