The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

No chips or cracks detected. A couple of minute firing cracks to some of the raised elements. Some skillfully executed short strokes of inpainting to the black engobe in the centaur: to his right elbow; around his centre right hoof and to his centre left hoof. The underneath with minor wear to the footrim and three footmarks from the time of firing. Subject to the foregoing, it is our opinion that the present work appears to be in generally very good condition.
