The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

We have sought to record the changes in the condition of this piece acquired after its initial manufacture.
Pair of bowls:
- One bowl with a small chip and a few frits to the mouth rim, and a small area of flaws to the foot rim
- The other with a large chip and some fritting to the mouth rim
- Both with some minor irregularities from firing
Cup:
- A triangular gilt repair associated with a hairline which extends to the bottom from the mouth rim; there is another long hairline on the opposite side
- A gilt fill to a small star crack on the interior
- The head of one figure is missing, and the gilding to the medallions are later added with some expected minor nicks
