The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

The sheet is hinged to the backing board at the corner-tips and undulates slightly. The left edge of the sheet is deckled. Soft scuffs, faint handling marks, and creases are occasionally to the edges. A tiny tear is near the center lower edge. Two short linear impressions are to the upper right quadrant, and another one is near the lower right corner. Faint rubbing is to the paper collage element, and a few pinpoint losses are to the right edge. There is no apparent inpainting visible under ultraviolet light.
