This adidas TRIONDA ball was used during the 2026 FIFA World Cup on June 12, 2026, with host nation United States defeating Paraguay 4-1 in Los Angeles. Called the TRIONDA, meaning three (Tri) waves (Onda), the ball’s red, green and blue design pays homage to the three host countries and incorporates iconography significant to each. It also utilizes Connected Ball Technology which was used to track the movement of the ball in play to send data to the Video Assistant Referee (VAR) system in real time.
