The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

- numbering in pencil at the lower sheet edge, at centre.
- a pale yellow mark at the lower sheet edge, at right, and a small brown mark in the upper left corner.
- a pale yellow mark near the left sheet edge verso.
