The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

The sheet is hinged at the corners to the backing board, and undulates slightly. The sheet has shifted slightly in tone. The upper and right edges are deckled, and mat burn is to the edges. A small spot of foxing is near the upper left corner. Minute spots of foxing are scattered, and pinpoint accretions are occasional. On the reverse: Lines of foxing and mild discoloration are presumably from a prior support. There is no apparent inpainting visible under ultraviolet light. Subject to the foregoing, it is our opinion that the work is in overall good condition.
