The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

The seats with some scratches and wear; some chips to the interior flange on the underside of the seat (not visible when placed); otherwise in generally good decorative order. The boxes with scratches, wear and chips; red showing below the green on some worn spots; one box with a large crack with associated losses; one cover with a crack to the rim; both boxes with an impressed brown wax seal, one of these seals to the top of one box.
