The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

The work is structurally sound. There is superficial surface abrasion to the lower right quadrant, measuring approximately 6cm. in length, only visible under close inspection. There is some rubbing to the lower horizontal edge, with an associated pinpoint paint loss to the lower right extreme edge. When examined under ultraviolet light, there is a minute area which fluoresces in a manner consistent with inpainting to the upper left turnover corner. Subject to the foregoing, it is our view that the work appears to be in generally very good condition.
