Condition report
A Christie's specialist may contact you to discuss this lot or to notify you if the condition changes prior to the sale.
The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.
The canvas is slightly slack and faint stretcher bar impressions are visible occasionally along the edges. A few small raised linear cracks are infrequently to the passages of heavier paint application. Passages of minute drying cracks are visible under close inspection. A minute loss is to the green passage in the lower right quadrant, and a few more are to the blue passages above and below center. There are a few very faint scattered surface scuffs and pinpoint accretions. There is no apparent inpainting visible under ultraviolet light.
