The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

The sheet is hinged in places on the reverse to its underlying support. There are three fly spots visible to the upper left, the center left and the lower right. There is a minor abrasion to the lower center of the figure's cardigan. There is a minor finger prints and rubbing on the tree trunk element, likely in keeping with the artist's working method. Subject to the foregoing the work is in generally very good condition.
