The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

In addition to the catalogue description:
- the full sheet.
- some small areas of repair from previous paper loss (the largest circa 10 x 20 mm.) and other minor nicks at the sheet edges.
- some areas of repair in the sheet margins and pinpoint holes in sheet corners.
- with mount- and light staining.
- extensive handling creases in the sheet, predominantly visible in the margins.
- a long diagonal crease (circa 290 mm.) in the lower right corner.
- some stray printing ink in the lower margin and unobtrusive foxspots in the margins.
- pencil and ink inscriptions in the lower margin verso, the ink inscriptions visible recto.
- hinged with paper tape at the upper corners verso, with remains of old hinging.
