Each on a square base with baluster stem, cylindrical sockets with shaped square nozzles, gadrooned borders throughout, the wells of the bases engraved with a coat-of-arms and a crest below a baron's coronet, the nozzles engraved with a different crest and with foliate initial B, marked on undersides, the sconces with lion passant, the nozzles apparently unmarked

The arms and crest on the base are those of Wilson for Henry William Wilson of Didlington and Ashwellthorpe (1728-1796), and his wife Mary Miller (d. 1772), daughter of Sir John Miller (1712-1772) 4th baronet of Chichester.
