The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

Cette œuvre est vendue encadrée. La feuille est fixée au revers à un support cartonné par des charnières le long des bords. Les bords sont légèrement irréguliers. La feuille a légèrement jauni. Les angles supérieurs présentent de légères traces de pliure ; une autre, associée à un léger arrachage de papier, est dans l’angle inférieur gauche. Présence de fines déchirures le long du bord droit, dont une associée à une trace de pliure. Présence de cassures, froissures et accrétions superficielles par endroits sur la surface. Sous réserve de ce qui précède, selon notre opinion, l’œuvre est en bon état général de conservation.

This work is sold framed. The sheet is hinged on the reverse to a carboard support along the edges. The edges are slightly irregular. The sheet has slightly yellowed. The upper corners present slight folding marks; another, accompanied with a slight paper tear, is to the lower left corner. There are thin tears along the right edge, for one accompanied with a folding mark. There are paper creases and superficial accretions in places to the surface. Subject to the foregoing, it is our view that the work appears to be in overall good condition.
