The sheet is hinged to the backing board at the corner-tips and periodically along the edges and undulates slightly. The edges of the sheet are deckled. A possible artist's pinhole is to the right of center within the black painted circular paper collage element. Minor wear is to the corner-tips and a tiny loss is to the upper left corner. A small area of skinning is to the upper right corner and a small scuff is to the lower right edge. Visible under close inspection and raking light, a faint abrasion is to the lower right corner in a blacked painted passage. Slight fraying of the fabric, creasing of the paper collage elements and adhesive residue is visible, all likely in keeping with the artist's working method and choice of medium. There is no apparent inpainting visible under ultraviolet light.
