The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

The work has not been examined outside its artist's frame. Fine hairline cracking is visible intermittently along the extreme edges. There are two small accretions visible in the lower center right quadrant, and a diagonal accretion near the lower right corner. Faint abrasions with pinpoint associated losses are near the figure's proper left arm, right of center, and to the upper left quadrant. A hairline abrasion and two faint surface scuffs are to the upper right quadrant. Faint wear and discoloration are visible infrequently in the yellow passages of the artist's frame, and faint wear and remnants of discolored adhesive accretions are to the extreme turning edges of the artist's frame. Mostly visible under ultraviolet light, two drip accretions are to the upper right quadrant, and two more are left of center. There is no apparent inpainting visible under ultraviolet light.
