FURTHER DETAILS
The two paintings by Zhao Shao'ang in this collection, dedicated to Dr. Dawei and Madame Xiaofen, refer to Mr. David Young (original name Young Hon Wai ), a registered physiotherapist and registered Chinese medicine practitioner in Hong Kong, and his wife, Leung Siu Fun Patti. Mr. Young received his medical education in Hong Kong, becoming a physiotherapist in 1973. He later studied Chinese medicine and became a registered Chinese medicine practitioner in 2003. With a passion for art, Mr. Young studied painting under Zhao Shao'ang, which led to him receiving these two works as gifts.
