The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

- Overall condition good. Scratches, abrasion marks and small nicks to the metal throughout, consistent with normal wear. Hinge mechanism in good working order, clasp secure, with safety catch.
- Additional marks: French assay marks for 18 carat gold, 750, maker's mark 'Ste fountain L' for Lully Joaillier.
- Sapphires, rubies and emeralds: with typical inclusions, a few surface reaching, scratches, small nicks and abrasion marks throughout.
- Diamonds: total weight approximately 10.00 - 11.00 carats, assessed to be on average H to I colour, VS to SI clarity.
