The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

Non examinée hors du cadre. L'œuvre est sur sa toile d'origine. La surface est très légèrement poussiéreuse. Une légère déformation du châssis est visible le long du bord supérieur. Quelques très légères traces de frottement sont visibles par endroits sur la surface, principalement à la périphérie de l'œuvre. Quelques très légérs points d'accrétions sont visibles par endroits sur la surface. Examinée à la lumière UV: pas de repeint apparent. Sous réserve de ce qui précède, selon notre opinion, l’œuvre est en bon état général de conservation.

Not examined out of the frame. This work is not lined. The canvas is very slightly dusty. A slight distortion of the stretcher is visible along the upper edge. Minor rubbing is visible in places to the surface, mostly to the periphery of the work. There are a few pinpoint accretions in places to the surface. Examined under UV light: no visible inpainting. Subject to the foregoing, it is our view that the work appears to be in overall good condition.
