The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

The cucumber seller- A poorly restored chip to the brim of her pink hat and to one fold in her pink skirt at the reverse; some small chips to the wheat in her hands, a tiny chip to her left thumb; generally in good order. No chromium was found in the green enamels during XRF testing.
The baked pears seller- Restored through the neck with associated restoration to his upper (left) hand and the pendant part of the basket within his hand; chip to edge of base. No chromium was found in the green enamels during XRF testing.
