The sheet is hinged along the top edge to the backing board. A fine layer of dust and surface soiling is visible. Artist pinholes are to the corners, center upper edge, and center right edge. Tiny tears and associated losses are to the edges, most notably to the right edge, the center lower edge and lower left corner tip. Cracking is found to the right edge in the white passages and two tiny losses are to the pink passage in the lower left corner. Partially flattened impasto peaks with associated light abrasion marks are found infrequently. There is no apparent inpainting visible under ultraviolet light.
