The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.
The sheet is hinged to the backing board at the upper corner-tips. The sheet has shifted in tone and the upper right corner is unevenly cut. Creasing and handling indents are to the corner-tips and edges and a tiny loss is to the upper center edge. Visible under close inspection, fine skinning is to the edges of the sheet and to center near the image, possibly in keeping with the artist's working method. Faint handling marks and a small stain are to the lower right corner. A piece of tape is affixed to the reverse, visible to the front of the sheet. Visible under close inspection and ultraviolet light, drip accretions fluoresce to the lower center edge of the sheet. There is no apparent inpainting visible under ultraviolet light.
