From 1988 to 2000, Rolex used these Cal. 4030 movements till they developed their first in-house movement, the Cal. 4130.
The present timepiece is of special interest to Daytona collectors because it belongs to the A-series (serial number) and represents the one of the last batches of the Zenith-powered models.
