The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.
There are the inevitable surface scratches, dents and nicks.
Dust to crevices.
Rubbed areas to the patina all over, revealing the metal underneath.
Restorations to three legs on the ground and tail.
The later ebonised wood base : with cracks and chips.
Some dust.
