The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

There are the inevitable dents, marks, scratches and rubbing consistent with age and use.

Exterior exhibits dents, marks and scratches, five vertical cracks on the top lid. The lozine trim exhibits prominent patina, creasing, crinkles, dents and marks. Wooden slats appear to have been sandblasted. The leather closure strap is missing. Hardware appears to have been cleaned and polished, still it exhibits dents and scratches.

Interior is incomplete, it exhibits stains, marks and humidity stains. Interior top lid appears to have been restored.
