The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

A slight canvas draw is to the upper right corner. Stretcher bar marks are visible occasionally, most notably along the lower edge. A small impression mark is to the right lower edge. A small spot of rubbing is to the left upper edge and a minute one is left of center. Several very faint spots of discoloration are to the center upper edge, a few are to the upper right quadrant and a small linear one is left of the center upper edge. A small abrasion with associated loss is above center and one is near the center right edge. A few minute losses are to the center right edge and a few are to the left lower edge. Several hairline cracks are visible occasionally, most notably to the upper right quadrant. There is no apparent inpainting visible under ultraviolet light.
