The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

- Overall condition good. Some small scratches to the metal, consistent with normal wear. Double pin fitting, with safety hinge.
- Additional marks: French assay marks for 18 carat gold, maker's mark 'S 2 interlaced crescents C A' for Société Anonyme Cartier.
- Diamonds: total weight approximately 8.50 - 9.50 carats, assessed to be on average G to H colour, VS to SI clarity, one small diamond deficient and possibly one small replacement stone underneath the central cluster.
