The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

- Overall condition good. Scratches and nicks to the metal throughout, consistent with normal wear. Glass cover with very few minor scratches. Dial with areas of discolouration primarily between the 9 and 10 o'clock markers and close to the 3 o'clock markers.
- Additional marks: dial signed Cartier. Case with British hallmarks for 18 carat gold. Buckle with London hallmarks for 18 carat gold, date letter 'A' for 1975, maker's mark 'J.C' for Jacques Cartier.
- Sapphire: with minor scratches.
