The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

It is our opinion that the work is in good condition. The canvas is clear and taut and in good condition. There is minor wear to the extreme edges of the canvas, and a faint line of abrasion measuring ca. 2cm is observed on the upper part of the right border. Some irregularities in the varnish, consistent with the artist's method. When examined under ultraviolet light, minor areas of retouching are visible on the borders of the artwork.
