The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

Cette œuvre est vendue encadrée. La feuille est fixée au revers à un support cartonné par du papier de conservation le long des bords. La feuille a très légèrement jauni et présente une très légère ondulation par endroits le long des bords. Quelques accrétions superficielles sont par endroits sur la surface. Quelques points de manque du papier, froissures et cassures du papier sont par endroits, probablement inhérentes au support choisi par l'artiste. Sous réserve de ce qui précède, selon notre opinion, l’œuvre est en bon état général de conservation.

This work is sold framed. The sheet is fixed on the reverse to a cardboard support with conservation paper along the edges. The sheet has very slightly yellowed and undulates very slightly in places along the edges. A few superficial accretions are in places to the surface. A few small paper losses and creases are in places, probably inherent to the artist’s chosen support. Subject to the foregoing, it is our view that the work appears to be in overall good condition.
