The rectangular top with ebonized and satinwood line inlay within a crossbanded border, the fluted frieze centered by a tablet carved with a drapery swag, on six square tapering fluted legs headed by rosettes, the reverse with an applied Ronald Phillips trade label numbered '10980', the underside inscribed in yellow chalk 'E3428 / X ADAMS / EX', with old shipping label affixed to the back inscribed 'T. ROGERS & CO. LTD./ 14 MASONS YARD LONDON/ #0110 DINING ROOM/ FOR IVAN T. SMITH (WALL[?])
