The following condition report was prepared by Simon Parkes Art Conservation, Inc.:
This work is well restored and can be hung in its current condition. The canvas has an old glue lining. The painting is clean. The paint layer has been slightly abraded. Retouches have been applied throughout the work to address some cracking and spots of thinness. The retouches are fairly numerous and clearly visible under ultraviolet light. Slight abrasion in the lower left sky remains visible. The work looks well in its current state, and cleaning is not recommended.
