The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

Sheet floats freely. Faintly mat-stained and light-stained, consistent with the work's age. Artist's tack-holes to the four corner and in the sky at upper left. A few small nicks and flattened creases to the extreme edges, expertly-repaired small tear to the center right edge. A few pinpoints of foxing. A few scattered handling creases and scuff marks. The line is strong. Subject to the foregoing, it is our opinion that the work is in overall good condition.
