The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.
We have sought to record changes in the condition of these pieces acquired after their initial manufacture.
cup:
Two vertical hairlines starting from the mouth rim.
A rectangular paper label reading 'X199' on the base, a circular paper label with the handwritten inscription '18th / cent' inside the cup.
saucer:
A rectangular paper label reading 'X199' on the base.
both:
Some nicks /small losses to the enamels along the rims.
A few age cracks to the enamels, especially to a section of the saucer.
Pitting to the enamels.
Wear to the gilding.
General age-related surface wear and scratches as can be expected.
