On Thursday, May 14 Global Citizen and FIFA announced that Shakira would co-headline the historic FIFA World Cup 2026 Topps Final Halftime Show on Sunday, July 19, 2026 at New York New Jersey Stadium. FIFA President Gianni Infantino, Shakira and Brazilian football player Kaká came together for this announcement, signing this ball together in New York City to commemorate the event.
