- Overall condition good. Some small scratches to the metal throughout, consistent with normal wear. The interior of the case with signs of wear.
- Additional marks: French assay mark for 18 carat gold, 750, maker's mark 'square P & Fils' for Péry & Fils, '51' referring to the Van Cleef & Arpels ring size.
- Peridots: a few with typical inclusions, a few with small scratches and minor nicks.
- Amethysts: some with typical inclusions, a few with small scratches and minor nicks. Some variation of colour throughout.
