The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

Overall good condition, with a clean, complete appearance. The fluorspar stone overall with the expected scratches, scuffs and 'nibbles' consistent with age; some infill to the stone which is mostly likely dating to the time of manufacture. The marble and black stone at the plinth bases with a few small chips; one of the white marble pieces with circular scuffs from the ormolu socle above it being turned. The ormolu with some minor surface scratches, slight casting inconsistencies, light oxidation and rubbing, as to be expected. On of the leaf-shaped handle terminals is reattached. One slightly misaligned, recommend realigning. Overall good, ready to place.
