The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.
In addition to the catalogue entry:
- the full sheet.
- the sheet toned, slightly darker at the extreme sheet edges.
- irregular horizontal indentations at the upper and lower sheet edges (possibly from the lithographic stone).
- at the lower corners, and at the center of the left, right, and lower sheet edges, traces of adhesive from old hinges verso showing through slightly recto, slightly affecting the blindstamp and date.
- a very soft crease at the lower right sheet corner
- hinged at places along the sheet edges on the reverse (with associated indentations recto), the reverse therefore not examined.
Otherwise as described and in generally good condition.
Framed (with Perspex).
