The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

Watercolour and black chalk on paper laid down on card. Some very pale minor light staining with one or two minute pale spots of foxing in a few places. A few minute bubbles in the pink pigments towards the left edge inherent to the artist’s watery technique. Medium is very strong and very fresh throughout. Subject to the foregoing, it is our opinion that this work appears to be in generally very good condition.

Aquarelle et pierre noir sur papier marouflé sur papier fort. Très légère insolation de la feuille associée à une ou deux minuscules et discrètes piqûres dans de rares endroits. De rares et minuscules bulles dans les pigments rose vers le bord gauche, inhérentes à la technique aqueuse de l’artiste. Le medium est très vif et très frais sur l’ensemble de la composition. Sous réserve de ce qui précède et selon notre opinion, cette œuvre apparait en très bonne condition générale.
